About
On the south eastern side of Tagetochlain (Poplar) Lake is the semi-open, forested 7 unit campground. There is a small, gravel boat launch here and the site can be popular in spring and fall for hunting and fishing. There are several fish species in the lake including lake trout and burbot, please only keep what you can eat as these species are long lived and slow reproducing fish species. The road is often busy with logging traffic, a VHF radio with Resource Road channels is recommended for travel here.
Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf
