Murphy Lakes West

This small recreation site is popular with fishermen and hikers during the spring and summer months, and with hunters during the fall. The site is best suited for truck campers, small trailers and tenters. There is a short 70 metre trail to the south end of the lake from the campsite where you can put in your small boat/kayak/canoe or belly boat at the lakeshore.

Located northwest of Tulameen, access is via the Lawless Creek Forest Service Road, then onto the Britton FSR, then turn left onto the Grasshopper Road.

Alternate access is via exit #228 off Highway 5, Coquihalla Lakes. Take the Tulameen FSR which starts near the Britton Creek Highways Rest Area and drive to just past 8.0 km. Stay to the left onto the Britian FSR, travel 2.3 km then turn right onto Grasshopper Road (the 2nd right) and travel 3.5 km to the campground entrance. Turn left and go 50 yards to the campsite.
