This small site is located along the river bank just before the bridge crossing. The site provides natural camping pads and the basic amenities of tables, fire rings and a pit toilet. During the late summer portions of the sandy river bottom are exposed and provide opportunity for a scenic walk along the river. Anglers may have some luck with catching rainbow trout, whitefish or bull trout, however the river remains murky year round due to glacial feeding. This site is generally fairly quiet but is popular for fall hunting camps. Also check out the Kittil Falls located only a 9km drive up the Sande FSR.
