This site is located in a scenic area at the confluence of the Bowron River and Haggen Creek. There are 3 separate entry points within close proximity to each other, each providing room for 2 camping parties. The basic amenities of tables, fire rings and pit toilets are provided. The river can offer decent fishing opportunities and this site is popular as a hunting base camp during fall.
Driving Directions
This site is accessed via Highway 16 E and the Bowron FSR. Turn right onto the Bowron FSR approx. 70 km from PG. Proceed along the Bowron FSR for approx. 40 km until you reach the site. The site should be 2WD accessible during the summer months, but a high clearance vehicle may be preferable depending on the level of road maintenance.
