Fishhook Lake

This site is in close proximity to the highway (8km) and offers 4 semi-private campsites with the basic amenities of tables, fire rings and a pit toilet. There is a natural boat launch that offers access to the lake for small car-topper type boats. Anglers may have success catching rainbow trout and coarse fish.

Drive approximately 85 Km on highway 97 North and turn right on Chuchinka Red Rocky/Colbourne (2000) FSR. Keep left at the first main junction, and the site is at 832km. There is alternate access through the 700/800 Rd (south of Bear Lake - Winton Global Mill access road).

Please note that this area is extremely busy with industrial traffic. The use of 2-way radios is highly recommended. Please drive cautiously at all times and be aware of high volumes of heavy industrial traffic.
