COLDWATER RIVER

Flat open area along the banks of the Coldwater River. Some sections are covered in mixed old growth stands of timber. Heavy ATV use throughout site. There are natural sandy beaches with pools deep enough to swim in. Flat treed areas with ample space for camping. Old growth forests are home to many species of birds and other wildlife.

Exit # 256 off of the Coquihalla Hwy # 5 south of Merritt. Take Coldwater Road heading south to Brookmere. At 1 km the reserve starts and continues south past the bridge over the Coquihalla River.
