Clear Lake

This site is situated along the edge of Clear Lake and offers ample space for 3 camping parties, as well as extra parking for day users. The basic amenities of fire rings, tables and pit toilets are provided. There are 2 car-top boat launches - one at each end of the site. The lake offers some decent rainbow trout fishing and is stocked every two years with Pennask strain rainbows.

Head west on Highway 16 from PG and turn left onto the Blackwater Rd - proceed 21km and turn right on to the Pelican FSR. At 5km turn to the right. Drive an additional 5 km and turn left onto Willy's Hump Rd where the main road ends (you will see a gate on the main road). Travel 1.8km on the Willy's Hump road and then turn left. The site is located another 1.3kms. The site is 2WD accessible but a high clearance vehicle is recommended as the road has not received maintenance in several years.
