A rustic high elevation site at Chute Lake. 15 km. from Naramata with access to the Kettle Valley Railway. Expect a wide range of surface conditions, from hard packed gravel to loose, unconsolidated railway ballast. Not suitable for street bikes. There is a boat motor restriction of 10hp or less.
Driving Directions
Take Hwy 97 to Penticton to Naramata Road to Chute Lake Road. The road is paved for 2.5 kms and then turns to gravel on the forest service road. Drive 10.4 kms up Chute Lake Forest Service Road, drive through the Chute Lake Lodge for 300m to access the Kettle Valley Trail. At the stop sign, turn right onto the Kettle Valley Trail. After 200m o the KVR, turn left onto Elinor Lake Forest Service Road. After another 150m, turn left into the access for Chute Lake Rec Site. The access road is 150m to the lake, and is in rough condition.
