This site provides parking for those hiking up to Canty Lake. The trail is ~2.2kms in length with a 575m elevational change. It is a challenging hike up to the lake, so wear appropriate footwear/gear etc. The basic amenities of a pit toilet are offered at the parking area and at the top. Note that the trail may be difficult due to blowdown across the trail.
Driving Directions
Travel north (NW) of Mackenzie via the Parsnip West FSR, and turn right at approx. km 89.5. Access to this trail head is located ~3kms off the main FSR.
