A beautiful site nestled into the southern end of Binta Lake in a mature forested, 7-unit campground with a nice gravel/sand beach and boat launch. There are several fish species available for anglers on Binta Lake and great boating/paddling/swimming on this large lake. Driving Directions
From Hwy 16 in Burns Lake, take Hwy 35 south and take the ferry across Francois Lake (be sure to check schedules for Francois Lake ferry). Arrive in Southbank and take the first left off Keefes Landing Road onto Uncha Lake Road. Follow Uncha Lake Road for 11.8 km. Turn right onto the Campbell road for 4.7 km, turn left onto Binta Road. Follow Binta Road east for ~10.4 km. At the 4-way junction, travel south for 22.0 km on the Binta South FSR, turning left onto Mooney Road when you reach it. Proceed ~0.8 km along the Mooney to reach the site.
