About
A popular 11 unit campsite on the north shores of Augier Lake. This site has a gravel boat launch, a beautiful gravel/sand beach, and is a great place for boating/paddling, fishing, swimming or picnics. There are several species of fish available in the lake for anglers and this can be a popular site for hunters as well. Please avoid driving vehicles on the shoreline as this is sensitive fish habitat. In Canada, fish habitat is protected under the Federal Fisheries Act. Any alteration, disruption or destruction of fish habitat is a violation of the Fisheries Act. Violations can be reported to Fisheries and Oceans Canada at 1-800-465-4336 or to the provincial RAPP line at 1-877-952-7277 Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf
