We were at this campground for the first time and really enjoyed it. One of the quietest campgrounds we have ever been in. The interpretive programs were good, bathrooms clean, staff friendly. Great trails to walk and bike, the store had all the essentials and more, and only 15 minutes to Canmore. Loved it!
Twice per year, a group of 14 friends camp. We always get 4 sites and put 2 couples per site. Anywhere you go in the area, they always charge $12-20 per night for the extra tent. Totally understandable & reasonable.
This year? Bow Valley raised it to $36 per night for that extra tent.
(The same price as the site itself!)
For for 2 tents on 1 campsite, now you pay $72 PER NIGHT.
Yes the place is beautiful and well maintained, but if you plan on sharing a site with someone else, beware of the price. You are paying double.
Our group is never camping here again.
