Campsite Description

On the shores of Gull Lake only 2 hours from both Calgary and Edmonton is Aspen Beach Provincial Park Campground. With two different campgrounds with approximately 600 sites that accommodate a diverse range of campers and offer power, water, sewer; power; non-power and group camping. Aspen Beach Campground includes both Brewers Campground and Lakeview Campground. The Park has an array of amenities, including playgrounds, washrooms, showers, walking and biking trails, a baseball diamond, horseshoe pits, concession, as well as, two large beaches within walking distance of all the sites.The beaches get very busy on the weekends but are an amazing place to enjoy the water. Because the shore is so shallow the water temperature is perfect for spending the day

Author review: January 2010 Being in between both Calgary and Edmonton makes this a popular destination. Even better than the great campground is the beach and lake. The water is shallow and warm, making it a great place to take the family to spend the day. It does get busy so get there early to stake your spot. Author review: January 2016 We have now camped at both Brewers and Lakeview. What a great campground! Depending on what services you need really tells you which campground to stay at. Lakeview has either power of full services where Brewers has unserviced sites. Lakeview also has access to a more private beach where Brewers has the giant playground and a much larger public beach.
