There is a reason that this campground is not busy like all of the others in the vicinity are; the manager is a grouchy old bag and doesn’t even understand the concept of camping. Don’t worry about booking ahead, there will be plenty of sites available. But if you make a peep after 10:00pm, beware, she comes out in a foul mood with threats of eviction. Even if you are just laughing and visiting (not partying, not playing music, not getting drunk and obnoxious) she will get on your case. It’s like a retirement compound. The town should take a good look at this and do something about it. She was unfriendly from the moment we arrived. I even feel bad for her dog. 🙁
